The following is a summary of the sexual and reproductive health actions of the «In Women’s Reach Project», focusing on innovation, equity and sustainability in access to services in vulnerable areas.

Strategic Progress in Reproductive Health

The In Women’s Reach project has made significant progress in the provision of sexual and reproductive health services in vulnerable areas of the country. Eighty-five percent of the established objectives have been achieved in a context of challenges in the health system.

  • Five mini-clinics have been established in key municipalities: Floridablanca, Ibagué, Tunja, Neiva and Popayán.
  • Services offered include abortion, contraception, gynecology and mental health.
  • Barriers such as regulatory delays and health reforms have been overcome.

Educational Campaigns and Increased Visibility

Educational initiatives and regional campaigns have had a positive impact on visibility and access to reproductive health information.

  • Over 1 million views on social media.
  • Website traffic has doubled.
  • Partnerships with community centers have been established to improve access.

Pricing Strategies for Improving Access

The use of pricing strategies has been instrumental in segmenting the market and improving accessibility to health services.

  • Four strategic pricing experiments were conducted that resulted in improved access and key insights.
  • A 20% discount on telemedicine led to an immediate increase in consultations, evidencing high demand elasticity.
  • Separating consultation and treatment fees increased the rate of service use by 15%.

Users’ Response to Price Incentives

Users have shown a quick response to price incentives, indicating the existence of financial barriers even with low fees.

  • Free services can be effective if properly structured.
  • Retention and orientation are crucial to long-term success in accessing health services.

Acknowledgements and Call to Action
